How to Get a Visa to the United States for Israeli Citizens:

Step 1: Determine the Visa Type Before applying for a U.S. visa, determine the type of visa you need. Common types include tourist visas (B1/B2), student visas (F/M), and work visas (H/L). For a comprehensive list of visa types, visit the U.S. Department of State website: U.S. Visa Types.

Step 2: Complete the DS-160 Form Access the DS-160 form on the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) website: DS-160 Online Application. Fill out the form accurately and submit it. Be sure to save the DS-160 confirmation page with the barcode.

Step 3: Pay the Visa Fee Visit the U.S. Visa Service website: U.S. Visa Application Fee. Follow the instructions to pay the non-refundable visa application fee.

Step 4: Schedule a Visa Interview Create an account on the U.S. Visa Service website: U.S. Visa Interview. After paying the fee, log in to schedule an interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in Israel.

Step 5: Attend the Visa Interview On the scheduled date, attend the visa interview with all required documents, including the DS-160 confirmation page, passport, photo, visa fee receipt, and supporting documents for your visa category.

Step 6: Wait for Visa Processing After the interview, the U.S. Embassy/Consulate will process your visa application. Processing times vary, so be patient. You may track your visa status on the U.S. Visa Service website.

Step 7: Collect Your Visa If your visa is approved, collect your passport with the U.S. visa at the chosen location or receive it by mail.
