For parents navigating the Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) process, our new video interview option makes it easier than ever. Here’s a quick guide on how to prepare for your video interview and what you’ll need.


1. Eligibility and Scheduling  

   Begin by ensuring you meet the eligibility criteria. Once verified, schedule your appointment through the online system. Remember, both parents must attend the interview.


2. Required Documents  

   - Original birth certificate (with English translation if necessary) + three copies.

   - Both parents' passports + three copies.

   - Marriage certificate + one copy and translation.

   - Proof of residency.

   

3. Video Interview Tips  

   Make sure you have a stable internet connection, a quiet space, and all documents ready. The interview process will cover the necessary details to confirm citizenship.
